Your books stay on your phone

Questions
I don't speak Vietnamese. Is LeziBook for me?
The app is in English and Vietnamese and follows your phone's language. Version 1.0 is made for Vietnamese books: its voices and reading rules are Vietnamese, which suits learners and anyone reading Vietnamese texts. Books in English and other languages come next, read first with your phone's built-in voice.
Which files can LeziBook open?
EPUB, PDF with a text layer, TXT and DOCX. Chapters come from the table of contents, the PDF bookmarks or the headings in the file. Scanned PDFs that are only images are not supported yet.
How natural do the voices sound?
LeziBook uses synthetic Vietnamese voices that run on the phone. Every voice has a preview you can hear before downloading. Until you download one, the app uses your phone's own Vietnamese voice.
Are my books sent anywhere?
Not by default. Opening the file, preparing the text and making the voice all happen on the phone. The one exception is AI text clean-up (paid, turned on per book by you): passages are sent to be processed and dropped, never stored. If you sign in to sync, the server keeps titles, authors and progress. Anonymous stats never contain book content, and you can turn them off in Settings.
Can I listen to books I bought on Kindle?
No. DRM-protected books are refused with an explanation, and LeziBook has no way to remove DRM. DRM-free books you bought, public-domain books and your own documents all work.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once a voice is downloaded over Wi-Fi, everything runs offline: reading, listening, highlighting and stats.
