This is LeziBook's real rule set, running in your browser. In the app it runs on the phone, offline.

## Four steps to listening

- **Open a file you own** — Pick it from your phone, or share it to LeziBook from Gmail, Drive or a chat app.
- **Chapters, ready made** — From the EPUB contents, the PDF bookmarks or the headings in the file.
- **Press play** — The voice starts in under two seconds and the sentence being read lights up.
- **Pocket the phone** — It keeps reading with the screen off. Control it from the lock screen and headphones.

## Listen like an audiobook

- **The sentence lights up** — The page follows the voice. Tap any sentence to read from there.
- **A sleep timer** — 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or the end of the chapter. It stops at a sentence and remembers it.
- **0.5× to 2.0× speed** — The new speed starts with the next sentence.
- **Remembers the sentence** — Open the book again and it carries on where you stopped.
- **Read only, no audio** — Hide the player, read full screen, turn pages with the volume keys on Android.
- **Listening stats** — Minutes a day, your streak, books finished. Kept on your phone.

One choice for the whole app. Literata type, with size, line spacing and margins set by you.

## Your books stay on your phone

- **On the device by default** — Book files, text and audio stay on your phone. Only if you turn on AI text clean-up are passages sent to be processed, then dropped; the server keeps nothing.
- **No account needed** — Open the app and start. If you sign in to sync devices, the server keeps titles, authors and progress, never the book itself.
- **Works offline** — Download a voice once over Wi-Fi, then listen even in airplane mode.
- **Anonymous stats you can turn off** — Never a book title, a file name or a single line of text.

## Questions

### I don't speak Vietnamese. Is LeziBook for me?

The app is in English and Vietnamese and follows your phone's language. Version 1.0 is made for Vietnamese books: its voices and reading rules are Vietnamese, which suits learners and anyone reading Vietnamese texts. Books in English and other languages come next, read first with your phone's built-in voice.

### Which files can LeziBook open?

EPUB, PDF with a text layer, TXT and DOCX. Chapters come from the table of contents, the PDF bookmarks or the headings in the file. Scanned PDFs that are only images are not supported yet.

### How natural do the voices sound?

LeziBook uses synthetic Vietnamese voices that run on the phone. Every voice has a preview you can hear before downloading. Until you download one, the app uses your phone's own Vietnamese voice.

### Are my books sent anywhere?

Not by default. Opening the file, preparing the text and making the voice all happen on the phone. The one exception is AI text clean-up (paid, turned on per book by you): passages are sent to be processed and dropped, never stored. If you sign in to sync, the server keeps titles, authors and progress. Anonymous stats never contain book content, and you can turn them off in Settings.

### Can I listen to books I bought on Kindle?

No. DRM-protected books are refused with an explanation, and LeziBook has no way to remove DRM. DRM-free books you bought, public-domain books and your own documents all work.

### Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once a voice is downloaded over Wi-Fi, everything runs offline: reading, listening, highlighting and stats.

### When is it on the App Store and Google Play?
